Sony wowed the IFA 2017 floor a couple of weeks ago with the launch of the new Xperia XZ1 with previously unseen 3D capabilities on a smartphone and it has now made its swift debut in Malaysia together with the Xperia XA1 Plus.

The latest Sony flagship phone boats real-time 3D capture that is unlike anything we have seen before. The 3D Creator feature that is built on the strength of Sony’s Motion Eye camera technology and proprietary IP lets users scan objects, food and people in high-quality 3D that can then be used in a variety of fun ways such as 3D stickers, 3D avatars, live wallpapers and more. The coolest thing is you can even print your 3D scans if you have a 3D printer!

Besides that, the Xperia XZ1 is also the latest device to come with 960-frames-per-second super slow motion capture we first saw on the Xperia XZs and Xperia XZ Premium with Sony’s Motion Eye camera. Other highlight camera feature include Predictive Capture, which automatically starts buffering images when it detects action or a smile even before the shutter button is pressed. As far as hardware and software go, it is packing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Android 8.0 Oreo.

On the other hand, the Xperia XA1 Plus is the latest mid-range phone from Sony and a bigger and upgraded Xperia XA1, which made its debut here back in May. It has a significantly larger (5.5-inch) and better display than its smaller sibling. On the camera front, it sports a high-resolution 23MP rear camera that takes great photos in low light conditions and can be quickly-launched and capture at just 0.6 second.
