The Samsung Galaxy Note8 official launch in Malaysia couldn’t come any sooner for all the local Note series out there. It will be happening tomorrow followed by exciting 4-day roadshows in different cities with attractive promotions that any potential Note8 buyers wouldn’t want to miss.

If you’re looking to get the most bang out of your buck, here’s a good news for you – you will be able to trade-in your old smartphone and get the Note8 for cheaper! Samsung Malaysia will be having an official trade-up campaign from tomorrow onwards until November 31 in which customers can trade in a large variety of phones including iPhones, Huawei, Oppo, vivo and older Samsung phones themselves.

galaxy note 8 trade inThe trade-in value will be specified by Ingram Micro Malaysia subject to terms and conditions, and the devices must fulfill certain criteria as detailed below.

  • Device is able to power ON and OFF, can properly charge, read IMEI and can use with all Malaysia Telco SIM Card
  • Device must have Wi-Fi connectivity (applicable to IPhone, Android), able to call IN and OUT and properly factory reset
  • Display screen should be functional; Display screen should be free from cracks but fine line screen crack may be acceptable, free from damaged pixels, free from shadows, free from discolouration and free from water damage
  • Casing and cover no major damage, no crack, no missing button and buttons are functioning
  • Device must not be a clone set, iCloud, Find my Phone (applicable to iPhone) Samsung ID and Phone lock must be remove
  • Make sure devices with finger print feature are in working condition.
