Huawei Ascend P6, world’s slimmest smartphone, to launch in Malaysia next week
The Ascend P6 is being touted by Huawei as the slimmest smartphone available in the market right now, and at 6.18mm in thickness that claim is hard to fault since the Galaxy S4 LTE is 7.6mm thick and the iPhone 5 is at 7.9 millimetres. Most other flagship smartphones hover around 9mm, so the P6 is considerably thinner than the competition.
The Ascend P6 is the company’s latest flagship device, after the Huawei Ascend P2 came out earlier this year and was promoted as the ‘world’s fastest smartphone’. While it’s obvious Huawei likes to pin its flagship products as a worldwide trend-setter, unlike the P2 Huawei can firmly back up that the P6 will be the snuggest fit in your pocket in terms of thickness.
To briefly recap the specs, the P6 will be laden with a quad-core 1.5GHz chip, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal capacity that extends to 32GB with a microSD card, and Huawei K3V2 chipset. The 1280×720 resolution, 4.7-inch display and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean should go along with the ultra-slim profile very nicely.
At the event, Huawei Device Malaysia, will also introduce the new Country Head of Huawei Malaysia’ Consumer Business Group to the press.
Will you be looking forward to meeting the world’s slimmest smartphone, the Huawei Ascend P6 next week?
