Dual SIM, Internet-Ready Nokia 215 Available Now For RM139
Throwback. A word so widely and often used by social media users these days. When it comes to mobile phones, who can forget the good old days when having a mobile phone means having a Nokia? You know, the era populated with Nokia phones with actual keypads (and a navigation pad to boot).
Microsoft is certainly bringing some nostalgia back when it announced the Nokia 215 earlier this year, a feature phone that evokes memories of their heydays and we do not have to wait long for it to arrive here as of today, it just did.
The Nokia 215 is the company’s most affordable Internet-ready phone. You heard it right, Internet-ready. That means your favorite social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Messenger will work on it out of the box. Too bad they do not include Whatsapp, which might be a deal breaker for many. Other Internet service such as Opera Mini browser, Bing search and MSN weather are also available for use.
Make no mistake, the Nokia 215 is a feature phone and thus, it comes with all the feature phone goodness such as built-in torchlight and a marathon battery life which is touted to offer up to 20 hours of talk time, MP3 and FM radio playback up to 50 hours and 45 hours long respectively and a standby time of up to 21 days! Besides that, it has a 2,4-inch QVGA display, a microSD-expandable storage up to 32GB, Bluetooth 3.0 and a VGA rear camera.
Available now at all Nokia stores nationwide in White, Black and Bright Green, the Nokia 215 in Malaysia is a dual SIM variant and it is priced at RM139.
