LG’s Latest Flagship Smartphone Is Here – The LG G3

After a leaky few weeks in the online sphere, Korean electronics giant LG has finally taken the drape off their latest flagship smartphone in a London event earlier this morning. Say hello to the LG G3! The direct sequel to 2013’s LG G2.

First, let’s get into what matters most – the specs:

  • 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS display (1440 x 2560 resolutions with an incredible 538ppi)
  • 3GB RAM + 32GB eMMC Memory
  • Quad-core 2.5GHz processor
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset
  • 16/32GB internal storage memory (expandable up to 128GB)
  • 13MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) & Laser Auto Focus
  • 2.1MP front camera
  • Android 4.4.2 KitKat
  • Removable 3,000mAh battery

It definitely packs a punch on the inside but the outside is no less intriguing. Rocking “floating arc design” with a polished metal body at the back which is said to be lightweight and fingerprint-proof, the G3 also features the innovative rear-positioned power and volume keys that first debuted with the G2 last year.

The LG G3 will be available in five color flavors – Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet and Burgundy Red. Its motherland, South Korea, will be the first country to sell it followed by a gradual release in other major markets worldwide in weeks and months to come.

Then again, whether we Malaysians will be able to purchase it (officially) is another question since LG smartphones usually arrive here very late or not at all (Where’s the Nexus 5?) | finance mortgage loans | | home equity loan calculators | | finance mortgage loans | | home equity loan calculators | | finance mortgage loans | | home equity loan calculators |
