What the iPhone 7 could look like

Despite the fact that Apple’s WWDC 2015 event is almost here, but there’s no new hardware to show off just yet. Apple is instead choosing to reveal iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 with a bunch of software initiatives. To ease the wait, a fan has created an iPhone 7 concept video that reimagines two major iPhone features. The concept device itself looks slim and fairly similar to the current iPhone 6.

The concept suggests the Home button will have both Touch ID fingerprint sensors and support for other gestures, like horizontal swipes through screens. A recent Apple patent discovery helps support the idea for this feature in future iPhones. The second major reimagining is on the rear and front cameras. The iPhone 7 concept shows the rear camera in the center of the upper side of the handset instead of the top left corner, packing a 12-megapixel sensor and dual LED flash.

Meanwhile, the front facing camera could be 4-megapixels with a 120-degree wide view for those selfies. Apple already has rumours of finally increasing the megapixels in its rear camera for the iPhone 6S, though the same may or may not happen to the front camera this year. Not exactly the most far-fetched of concepts for sure, so here is hoping that Apple take a few pointers to incorporate it in the next iPhone.
