The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 may be powered by a Snapdragon 636

A new image of an alleged Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has surfaced, revealing that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC. As you would be able to tell from the image, the SoC is paired to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, 49 GB of which is available to the user.

The notchless Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be fitted with a 6.9 inch display. In the camera department, expect to find a dual 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel setup. The rumour is that we will be seeing a Sony IMX363 as the primary sensor with a pixel size of 1.4-micron.  Over at the front, we may be seeing an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Keeping everything up and running will be a generous battery with a 5,500mAh capacity. The Mi Max 3 is to be announced on 19 July 2018.

Do you think the Snapdragon 636 is a reasonable CPU to be equipped on the smartphone? Let us know in the comments below.
