The smartphone to end all battery problems; The Philips W6618

Need a phone with huge battery life but can’t decide which phablet to get? Here’s something for you to consider; The Philips W6618 is a monster smartphone that is powered by a 5300mAh battery, which found itself being released in China, retailing for 1,699 Yuan, or around $273 (RM 820+), according to PhoneArena. The battery is non-removable and offers a staggering 66 days of standby and talk time of 33 hours. Due to its oversized battery, the phone is also slightly thicker than its competitors, having a 11.6mm profile.

And that pretty much sums up what the W6618 has going for it, as it’s far from being a flagship device. The smartphone packs a 5-inch display with qHD resolution (960 x 540,) 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, microSD support, dual SIM support and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Ultimately however, there’s no telling if we will ever see that device is going to make its way here regardless. In the mean time, you’re going to have to resort to just getting your hands on the HTC One (M8) or the soon to launch Galaxy Note 4 for your requirements.
