The Samsung Galaxy S6 is better than the iPhone 6
Or at least, that is what Samsung is trying to convince all of us. The company is no stranger to bashing its bigger competitor and this time around, they have released two new ads on their channel. Called S6 V 6: Wireless Charging, Wide Angle Selfie and Galaxy S6 V 6: Edge Display, it is pretty obvious what they are trying to convey.
The first of the two focuses on the Galaxy S6’s ability to charge wirelessly using the Qi standard, which convenient, even if nothing particularly ground-breaking. The ad also focuses on the S6’s wide angled front facing camera lens, which at least, when compared to iPhone 6’s, is wider.
To really drive the fact home, Samsung’s second ad follows much in the footsteps but it instead focuses on the S6 Edge’s curved display, showing off how it can light up to alert for incoming calls or show the time or other information. The iPhone 6 on the other hand is made to look fairly boring.
The ads are fairly entertaining if you are into that sort of sarcastic humour, as the comparisons highlighted are not going to change anyone’s minds, especially if they are committed to either sides of the camp.
