Samsung looking to ship 60mn Galaxy S8 units

Samsung reportedly has set a shipment target of 60mn units for the Galaxy S8. The company had apparently requested that its component suppliers to supply enough components to meet the target. Furthermore, Samsung is also said to have delayed the release of the device to 18 April 2017.

For comparison, Samsung shipped 45 million units of the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S6 and 48 million of the Galaxy S7, highlighting its confidence. Samsung is said to go into full production in March 2017 to achieve its target in time.
