Samsung Galaxy S4 is Official, Available End of April

Samsung Galaxy S4 announcement event.

Ladies and gentlemen, the much hyped Samsung Galaxy S4 was announced officially in Samsung Unpacked 2013!

Most rumors about the new features of the Galaxy S4 turned out to be real. It is lighter, thinner and bigger than the previous generation Galaxy S III. The Galaxy S4 is only 7.9 mm thick and 130 grams light. Storage wise, it has a choice between 16, 32 and 64 GB with 2 GB of RAM. The good news is it has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The new S4 features LTE supports up to hexa band, which includes China’s TD-LTE standard. It packs a 5-inch display with full HD resolution incorporated with the Super AMOLED technology. The pixel density amounted to 441 pixel-per-inches, giving images on the screen great detail level.

Just as rumored, the eye tracking function is not a disappointment either. Smart Scroll automatically scrolls pages when your eyes reach the bottom of the screen, whereas Smart Pause pauses the playing videos when you look away, and automatically resumes when you look back.

The cameras of Samsung Galaxy S4 consist of a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. It features Dual Shot, meaning we can capture photos and videos using both cameras at the same time.

One of the unexpected features of Samsung Galaxy S4 is the infrared LED control which can be used to control infrared supported devices like television. Furthermore, there are temperature and humidity sensors built in. Another killer feature is the S Translator. The S Translator translates between 9 languages on the fly. It even supports both text-to-speech and speech-to-text conversion.
