Nokia’s swansong is the 4G-enabled Nokia XL
Even though Microsoft has pretty much euthanised the Nokia X brand, they are not doing so before launching a 4G-enabled version of the Nokia XL in China.
The specification upgrades include 1 GB RAM from 768 MB on the standard version of the Nokia XL and a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8926) CPU to the 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Play (MSM8225) CPU featured in the 3G variant. The display is still 5-inches, and so is the quality, at 800 x 480 resolution. Other specs include 4 GB internal memory, microSD up to 32 GB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2000 mAh battery.
Not exactly the grandest of exits, but it will be missed regardless.
