Invites sent out by HMD Global for launch event in Russia

With reports that a total of three unannounced Nokia devices have gotten regulatory approval in Russia not too long ago, it was only a matter of time until we hear about a launch. Sure enough, HMD Global has issued invites to a launch event in Moscow, Russia.

According to the invite, the launch event will take place on 29 May 2018 and will be hosted by HMD CEO Florian Seiche alongside its CMO and CPO. However, the most important detail, namely the products which will be announced, are missing from the invite. That said, keeping in mind that three devices were approved in Russia, we are likely looking at the refreshes for the Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5.

However, with little else to go on at this point, we can only guess what the announcements are. Do stay tuned as we bring you the latest information, as they are likely to trickle in as we head towards the end of the month.
