Huawei and LG are said to be making the new Google Nexus
If it disappoints you that the the only option for you if you were looking for an official Google phone last year was the humongous Nexus 6, you might be glad to know that 2015 will prove to be quite a very different year. for time being, there are rumours that are suggesting that there are two new Nexus smartphones in the works. What makes things so special this time around is that these two new devices are going to be developed by Huawei and LG, with Huawei’s first Nexus device codenamed Bullhead and LG’s offering going by the codename of Angler.
LG’s Angler is said to sport a 5.2-inch display and a battery capacity of about 2,700mAh, although for the time being, the processor has yet to be decided, although the smart money is hinting at the Snapdragon 808, which was used in the LG G4. On the other hand, Bullhead on the other hand is going to be a larger 5.7 inch device equipped with a Snapdragon 810 chipset and a rather sizeable 3,500mAh battery. Tentatively, both devices are expected to be announced sometime in October. Also worth noting is the fact that Google apparently is not going to announce a new Nexus tablet this year either.
