First shipments of Galaxy S8 doubled by Samsung
Samsung has purportedly almost doubled the initial shipments of the Galaxy S8 over its predecessor. Should the report be true, Samsung has every intentions of making a huge push with its first flagship device of the year.
The company is said to have set a sales target of 60mn units for the Galaxy S8, slightly higher than the 48mn unit target set by the Galaxy S7. As we have reported earlier, Samsung is expected to launch two models of its next flagship, in the form of the the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Skipping the Mobile World Congress 2017 later in February, rumours suggest that the company will hold an event on 29 March 2017 to formally introduce the Galaxy S8.
