A sneak peek at the LG G Watch R
Now this is what we call a watch. LG has just show off of its G Watch R — the second of its current stable of smartwatchs. While you will have to wait until October at the very least, there is no denying that this beauty may just be worth the wait.
Although the device says it all already, here are some of the specifics – The G Watch R uses a 1.3-inch P-OLED panel at 320×320 resolution. The company claims that you get “stunning image clarity even under bright sunlight” — an issue that’s plaguing the current batch of Android Wear devices. As for the strap, LG’s using a standard 22mm leather band which can be swapped out.
As far as its internal hardware go, the LG G Watch R is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.2 GHz. There is 4GB of internal storage, with 512MB of RAM. It also sports the largest battery seen yet on these sort of devices, at 410mAh. Other knick-knacks include a gyroscope, accelerometer and compass, a barometer and a heart-rate sensor
