Huawei nova 3 & nova 3i With Quad Cameras And Better Performance Announced In Malaysia

Huawei’s very-popular midrange nova Series has got their next proper sequels in the form of the nova 3 and nova 3i. The global announcement is followed closely by the Malaysian launch, a star-studded affair headlined by nova Series ambassador Hannah Delisha.

The nova 3 and nova 3i are once again phones that are targeted towards the selfie generation, the young and the trendy. Like the nova 2i, both phones are equipped with quad (four) cameras with 24MP selfie shooters. The cameras do a lot of things too compared to their predecessors. There’s the mandatory AI enhancements, scene recognition feature with over 200 scenarios across eight categories, a total of five preset “studio-quality” lighting (soft lighting, butterfly lighting, stage lighting, split lighting & classic lighting) and even Huawei’s take on the Animoji craze, called the Qmoji. Both phones can also make super slow-motion videos at 480fps.

Performance matters separate the nova 3 and nova 3i. While the more affordable nova 3i features 4GB RAM and Kirin 710, the nova 3 is powered with 6GB RAM and the Kirin 970 – the flagship-level chipset found in the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. Both supports Huawei’s proprietary GPU Turbo that enables high-quality gaming experience by enabling 60% improvement in graphic-processing efficiency while lowering SoC power consumption by 30%.

Here are all the important specs details.
