Honor may launch the Honor View 20 in January 2019

Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, announced that it will launch its own hole-in display smartphone on 22 January 2018, which is widely expected to be the Honor View 20.

According to a report by Android Headlines, Honor will showcase the device on 22 January 2018 in France. The smartphone is to be powered by the Kirin 980 processor, which incidentally is the same chipset found inside the Magic 2. The accompanying poster shows the silhouette of the smartphone where there is a camera hole on the top left corner. Seen on it is also the tagline ‘See The Unseed’.

Among other things, the Honor View 20 is expected to be fitted with triple rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Taking into account that it is part of the V/View series of smartphones which usually have LCD displays, do not expect an under-display fingerprint scanner.
