Realme is getting ready to reveal the Realme X2, a new premium midrange device. It’s a sequel to the Realme X, packing an upgraded SoC and other incremental changes. OPPO’s subsidiary will be revealing the device on 24 September, also publishing new details before the official unveiling.

A new post on Weibo says the Realme X2 will feature a Super AMOLED display with 91.9% screen to body ratio. A fingerprint scanner will be placed underneath. There’s no reveal of the display size, only saying the fingerprint scanner can recognize and unlock the display in just 0.36 seconds.

The Realme X2 will run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G, a 8nm processor with eight Kryo 470 cores. Graphics runs off Adreno 618 GPU. It’s powered by a 4000mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge system support. The selfie camera is 32MP, and a quad-camera rear setup led by a 64MP camera. With the handset going official 24 September, we’ll see if more details will be disclosed/
