Samsung Omnia II now available in Malaysia, RM 2,399
The Omnia II was launched here yesterday, the flagship finally making its way over in Malaysia. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, and will be upgradable to WinMo 6.5. Additionally, it has the TouchWiz 2.0 UI. The handset itself has a 3.7 inch AMOLED display with WVGA resolution, the screen still relies on resistive full touchscreen.
A 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED Flash, face detection, and a smile shot is onboard. Onboard A-GPS is also available. The hardware specs are an 800 MHz processor and a 256MB RAM. The internal memory stands at 8GB and a microSD card which goes up to 32GB.
Connectivity wise, there will be a quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, Bluetooth 2.0. Data wise, there’s HSDPA 7.2Mbps and Wi-Fi. The OS has Microsoft office, push mail, MSN messenger and etc.
The Omnia II is available now at RM 2,399.
