Apple Arcade to cost USD 5 a month

Apple Arcade, Cupertino’s cloud gaming service was announced earlier in 2019, and as you would come to expect from such services, there will be a number of Apple-exclusive titles. Before that however, the monthly fee for Apple Arcade is rumoured to be USD 4.99 a month (MYR 20.83) a month.

The information comes by way of 9to5Mac, which found the information from one of the APIs used by the app on App Store. More importantly, the service will include a one-month free trial. There is also the ability to share the account through a Family Sharing account. How Apple Arcade differs from the likes of Google’s Stadia is that it has a more indie-focused approach and the games can only be played on Apple devices.

Either way, none of this is confirmed, but do expect to hear it alongside the launch of the next generation iPhone in a month or so.
