2. Google Nexus 7 2013

Google introduced the second generation of Nexus 7, introducing some more features. The New Google Nexus comes with a 7 inch display along with a screen resolution of 1920X1200pixels packed into every inch of the display with amazing touchscreen.

The search-engine giant tried to improve the device in terms of hardware as this time the Nexus is lighter in terms of weight and it also fits in your hands easily. Google Nexus 7 2 comes with the latest update of Android 4.3 which can now be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.

3. Nokia Lumia 2520

We haven’t officially seen the Lumia 2520 in Malaysia, but all indications are that the first Lumia tablet is something worthwhile to get during this season of giving. It comes with a 10.1 inch full HD display.

The design of the tablet is very different from rest of its Android competitors. It has a one-piece polycarbonate body which is similar to all of Nokia’s Lumia’s phones.


It sports a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and it is powered by Windows 8 RT. Along with this Nokia has added a 6.7 megapixels camera with Carl Zeiss lens.  It has a HDMI output, which will allow you to connect the tablet to connect it to a television.

Nokia has also selling the power keyboard which can be connected to the tablet and it helps the users to type easily along with an extra battery which gives around 16 hours battery life in total.

4. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0

The South Korean company introduced the Galaxy Note 8.0 in July this year.  It carried a display of 8 inches with a screen resolution of 800X1280 pixels with a TFT touchscreen.

The 8.0 easily fits in the hands of the users and it is a slimmer and a lighter version of Galaxy Tab 10.1. The flagship device is available in two variants of 16GB and 32GB, and the storage is expandable up to 64GB as the device sports a microSD card slot.

5. Sony Xperia Tablet Z

Sony Xperia Tablet Z is said to be the thinnest tablet in the world. Sony introduced this tablet with water and dust resistant feature. It is a 10.1 inch tablet with a screen resolution of 1200X1920 pixels, on a shatter proof and scratch resistant glass.
