Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag companion app to accompany your tablet

Can’t wait for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag? While waiting for your copy to arrive, why not try out the¬†companion application from Ubisoft. Do note however that you’re going to have to run this on a tablet, such as the Nexus 7, since this app is not supported on smartphones. Sorry!

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Companion

For something that’s supposed to just complement the much awaited action game, the features in this app are rather robust. First and foremost, players are able to log into their console version of Assassin’s Creed IV and do stuff like setting up waypoints in-game and keeping track of the objectives. ¬†Furthermore, you are given full control your fleet, and will be able to send them on missions.

In addition to that, players will be able to track their progress, check out treasure maps, display received messages, notifications from your friends, find community challenges and read all of the Animus database entries as you collect them. In a way, this sort of justifies the need for tablet, since this replicates the experience of the console version as well.

Head over to Google Play right now, if you’ve liked what you read so far about the companion application.
