I don't think TM will enhanced CDMA service to EVDO. curretly only several place have 1X BTS. its located at major town nationwide. probably TM will expanded coverage for target voice customer only

yeah, this is getting embrassment for TM since they dunno which direction to go to... either become full mobile or semi mobile... but with data EV-DO, should be full mobility instead of WLL only.

just got myself a Huawei 2205 on TM CDMA. NOt bad the coevrage but mostly is radius from TM Exchange. The nearest the stronger signal. Overall, even if 1 bar also has clear phone call. No background noise. fast conection to TM lines. No interference of magnetic field effect even on 800MHz.

My experince and feedback from my friend, motorola and nokia much better for voice. I also carry huawei brand C506 ( modem support up 156K), if one bar line breaking, but other brand OK at same place. My ones only use for access 1515 Tmnet. so if ur want to use as modem several model only can access 1515. I need 2/3 bar instead 5 bar can be access Tmnet . This model can support 1x BTS 156K speed and without 1X just can be support 28K/14.4K speed.
please visit tenten website for further info of Huawei model

Hmm too early to say.. In Malaysia, the way TM provides the CDMA service will only make it to compliment teh dominant GSM here. In fact, less choice of handset, CDMA coverage is not as great as GSM here, and need of re-educate the users on data will only make CDMA a second choice.
As notice, KL City CDMA coverage is still poor.. with lack of coverage, observed that the handset battery has drained like river... Still not as idea.. I notice the handset getting hot when talk more than 7 minutes.. and I feel a bit dizzy... could it be better than GSM? By theory, CDMA should transmit lesser even than GSM1800...Maybe lack of CDMA coverage, the handset tend to transmit higher than ideal.. KL City only covered by TM at KL Tower... sadly a lot of blindspot among the tall buildings...

Even TM packages is not as attractive as the current GSM offer.. sadly they still charge RM25 per line like homeline which most GSM operators have demolish the access fee.. and no nationwide flat rate of call to mobile and STD... Plus you cant call from Non-designated area. So, will TM CDMA fly? I guess not..

Haha... Mr levinx, why rushing to get yourself a CDMA handset? I don't own a CDMA handset myself, all the time my CDMA phones are loan from others.
