i heard on tv3 news yesterday about TM new broadband service.. they said want to install cable for broadband service nationwide.. i dont remember what they called it, something like Metro M or whatever..

TM will be used their bandwith 450Mhz for CDMA 450Mhz soon.

Really???..450 Mhz frequency instead of 850 Mhz Mobikom's freq.
I think they try to focus on expanding CDMA network quality & mobility & roaming...
Hopefully.. my Motorola CDMA 850 can accept this 450 band..hahaha..

NO, i think it will work on yr 850 mobile... A lot of ppl dun remember that TM has the first mobile network called ATUR450..TM hold the mible license on 450MHz. But CDMA to be deployed on 450MHz is weird... as it will only create usage for 25% of users in comparison to CDMA on 2GHz altho 450MHz required lesser BTS..
I never heard of CDMA over 450MHz to be deployed in vast except some scandinavian countries that has R&D on it as original ATUR450 is NMT (Nordin Mobile Telephony) system from the scandinavian countries..

CDMA on 450 bandwith, why not? Portugal already roll out on 2003-2004. Read here http://www.mobilecomms-technology.com/projects/radiomovel/ or goggling 'cdma on 450mhz; we'll get many infos about this.

Ayehh!! try to recall..
My first analog cellular phone 'Benefon Ultra' working on NMT 450 Mhz network..
So, they still have this freq from MCMC....1985-2006 ..ayooh
