24 August 2011 – On the affordable spectrum, the Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro were made official as well. Y stands for youth, and that is who the phones are aimed at, and both devices come with lower price points.
Galaxy Y runs on Android 2.3 OS skinned with the TouchWiz UI. The Y will apparently feature specs such as an 832MHz processor, a 3-inch QVGA (320 x 240) TFT
