i-mobile i858, a bar shaped phoneruns on android 2.2, operates at frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / HSDPA 2100 Mhz, 480 X 800 pixel with 4.3 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display, has an accelerometer sensor, 5 megapixel camera with auto focus ,digital zoom and face tracing , micro SD card slot up to 16 GB, stereo Fm radio, connectivity it has Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, WAP etc.

| kennypotatoes Posted On : October 04, 2010 | If you ask me... I will say this the best. WHY? I can say is a very cheap but high end smartphone. Fast GPS lock in, sensitive screen tab, internet browsing speed, and especially the screen size... the Cons is the battery life.. I hope it will come out a higher capacity battery. second is the speaker phone, if compare to my Omnia i900. not loud enough..... I give 9/10. deduct 0.5 is battery, 0.5 is speaker phone. |
| i858 Posted On : September 28, 2010 | Been using 1 of these bought from a seller via mudah...so far so good. my unit came with the latest rom 2.1 eclair with it n everything running fine. surfing hell alot better than HD2 and scrolling around the page no lag at all. gps lock oso fast, within 2minit locked d. ur problem is go to the setting there and disable the sleep mode. then ur wifi wont dc eventho the screen sleep off. for rm1050 for this new android set...i can tell this i858 can beat alot of branded mid-end android around, be it new or used.somemore the accessories also damn satisfying d came along in the box! |

Sale condition covers a 6-month insurance, i-mobile offers same new unit at half price in the event of theft (need a copy of filing from the police). It was packaged with Android 1.5 but I requested an upgrade to 2.1. Screen contrast is auto adjusted and looks pleasing to my eyes. Fine font displays well. Web page loading time is quick. One feature fails to perform on my unit is the Wi-Fi, I have never had a successful connection as it always trips off after <30 seconds. I need to go back to the shop to have it sorted out. So far I find it a very good choice to me with highest value for money (there was a last minute change of mind from Galaxy 3). The price I paid wa |
