ZTE just announced the Mimosa X, a 4.3-inch Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) device that packs a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor and an NVIDIA-Icera modem that goes up to 21Mbps. NVIDIA says this is the first time that their processor and modem has been packed into one device. The company bought up Icera mid-2011.
The qHD screen is capable of pushing out 960 x 540 pixels. Expect some mid-end goodness including a 5-megapixel camera and 4GB internal storage. There is an expandable memory slot that goes up to 32GB. It also comes with A2DP Bluetooth support, DLNA and Dolby sound.
ZTE left out the pricing for the Mimosa X but expect it go on sale in Q2 this year. There is a high-chance we’ll see the Mimosa X at Mobile World Congress 2012 next week.
