Samsung i5500 Corby is the latest member of the Corby range, known in the UK as the Genio but also called as Galaxy 5. will be the first to use the Android operating system, version Android OS, v2.1(Eclair).
The i5500 still manages to offer a 2.8-inch QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen, WiFi(received a Wi-Fi certification for the b/g/n protocols) and (received FCC certification)3G connectivity, A-GPS with Google Maps, Bluetooth 2.1, 2-megapixel camera, TouchWIZ UI, accelerometer sensor, a microSD memory card slot and up to 16GB expandable microSD slot.
