Introduction / Preview : Samsung Serenata Samsung,s partnership with Bang & Olufsen has resulted in another innovative device, the Serenata. The Serenata was designed by David Lewis to be reminiscent of a rounded stone one might find at the seashore. The Serenata features click-wheel navigation with very few other buttons. Users will navigate the phone,s UI by scrolling. This click-wheel is also oddly mounted above the 2.4" LCD display, promising an interesting user experience.
The Serenata is designed with a focus on music, with an integrated speaker system and support for MP3, WMA, and AAC music files. 4GB of internal memory offers plenty of room for music, and the Serenata supports over-the-air music downloads. Connectivity options include tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) support as well as HSDPA on the 2100MHz European frequency band. Bluetooth 2.0 is also included, as well as support for email (POP3/IMAP) and SMS/MMS. The Serenata does not have a camera, but does support video playback.
Availability is planned for November. Pricing is not yet announced.Latest Samsung Serenata user comments / reviews| | Login | Comments | | 1. | X
