24 August 2011 – On the affordable spectrum, the Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro were made official as well. Y stands for youth, and that is who the phones are aimed at, and both devices come with lower price points.
Meanwhile, if you were guessing the Y Pro is a device for texting, you are right on the money. The phone is powered by Android Gingerbread has a touchscreen with a QWERTY keyboard underneath, but details are scant. Samsung did mention that the device supports WiFi, WiFi direct, Bluetooth and Social Hub Premium.
