Samsung has announced the global rollout of its Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 Android-based media players with Russia and Switzerland being the first recipients of Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 respectively. Upgradeable to Android 2.3 OS, the players feature a 5-inch (Galaxy S WiFi 5.0) display with mDNIe image engine, 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Social Hub support, VoIP, VGA front and 3.2MP back facing cameras, 8 or 16GB internal memory and microSD card slot.
