SAGEM MC 850 GPRS is a second generation dual-band mobile phone that allows GPRS calls via a data/fax modem which allows connection to the Internet as well as fax sending and reception. Neither does this mobile need a PCMCIA card, nor a specific related software. The handset has a hands-free speakerphone mode you can switch to by just pressing one key while keeping moving freely, and is equipped with Easy Message T9™ software, which makes it a real mobile office.
The SAGEM MC 850 GPRS is a GPRS terminal in the B class, i.e. it is able to work both in packet mode and in conventional GSM mode. It is possible to switch automatically between these modes, but it is not possible to use them simultaneously, as it will be with the A class terminal.
