This is all Marketing strategy..the actual price for both HP isn't that high and in reality, the price you saw in the market now is still not the supposed to be the correct price. Just like HP...they mark-up price for the every phone selling at their store. The tag price for example is RM1000 but can still be nego until the so called actual price for those Phone. Let Say RM800...means , any potential buyer who negotiating the price can buy the phone at the mark-up price of MR800. The Shop owner won't go below that RM800. For me, the price for N96 should be around RM 1900-2000 instead of when it was launched ( RM2799 ) whereby N85 should be RM1499-1599 instead of RM1799-1899.
