Introduction / Preview : Motorola W396
Motorola introduced the W396 in black, red and dark blue. Apart from its modern design, the W396 is easy to use, allows the installation of Java applications and can be used as a pen-drive. The device comes with 1 GB memory card, expandable to 2 GB, and has an integrated VGA camera.
One of the main features of this device is the musical experience that offers: the device is armed with Windows Media Player, dedicated music key and FM radio data system (RDS) *, which allows the phone to identify the artist, track title and the genre of music that is heard on the radio.
Among the other functions offered by the W396, is the ability to extract sections of songs from FM radio to be used as ringtones on the phone, sharing favorite radio stations with friends and listen to your favourite music with headphones or loudspeaker. It also comes equipped with Moto's CrystalTalk technology, which effectively filter out unwanted noises.
