18 September 2011 - LG is now preparing one beauty for its home country, and it would definitely turn heads in South Korea. While its name of LU6200 might not be very impressive, but it boasts a 4.5-inch AH-IPS display with 720p resolution, a dual-core 1.5GHz Scorpion CPU, an Andreno 220 GPU, as well as a 8MP AF camera plus connectivity to the U+ LTE network (which offers a theoretical maximum download speed of 75Mbps).
Not only that, users will also have a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB in-built storage, 1830mAh battery, 801.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 and also support for DLNA, MHL, WiFi Direct and NFC. Specifically for the Korean market, it can also receive digital radio and TV broadcasts via terrestrial DMB. LG has a teaser page for this Gingerbread-powered smartphone, preorders of which begins on September 26th though there’s no word on pricing yet.
