22 June 2011 – It seems like Huawei will be introducing a blazing fast Android smartphone to the market soon. PC Magazine managed to get a hands-on of the pre-production unit of the Huawei Glory. It has a 4-inch TFT display with 480 x 854 resolution pixels and an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash.
The Huawei Glory will be using a 1.4-GHz Qualcomm MSM8655T processor with Google Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) that is upgradeable to Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich. However, there is a mismatch of information whether Huawei Glory is using a solo-core or dual-core processor. According to PC Magazine, Huawei said that the Glory will be using a dual-core processor, while chipset maker Qualcomm said otherwise. Anyhow, we are sure that it is a fast processor and Huawei has packed the Glory with high capacity 1900 mAh battery. Huawei does not heavily tweak the stock Android OS, but does give a cool 3D cube home screens transition.
