The EPI Life has a built-in ECG (electrocardiogram) measurement linked to a 24-hour health concierge service. The phone reported by CNET Asia, spends 30 seconds getting a reading, which is then sent back via GPRS anywhere in the world. The collected data is then analysed by a team of 10 cardiologists round-the-clock for medical conditions, and if require an emergency response will be issued. The phone also monitors blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol.
